Hi Pologuy, I can say that there are some very excellent sounding files out on the net. The trick to getting the right one is to do a google search for the name of the midi file you want but add xg at the end of it. I found a site from france that is in french, but has all of the pro yamaha midi xg files that were made for various demos and included with some boards they sold. I made a cassette of xgrock31 playing on my E403 and took it to work. I was playing it on the shop radio and said to co-worker Chris, hey what band is this? He couldn't even tell it was my keyboard. I will see if I can find the file for you and post the link.

I am brand new here so if you can message me I can tell you more. Also it is best to try and play the midi files to your keyboard rather than software. Alot of programs wil not play back right even with an outstanding file. I have found Cakewalk Pro 9 to be able to handle anything I can throw at it.
If anyone in the group knows a SOURCE, (Also used on the Yamaha CVP-609, & probably other Yamaha keyboards I'm unfamiliar with.) or, would share these MIDI files with me, I'd gladly PAY for the files.
