No doubt Gunsmoke or Bonanza maybe the untouchables. Answer: My favourite TV series of the 1960's was Star Trek, The Original Series. About 78 episodes were produced and with cable TV, you can still watch it Mon-Fri, in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I still enjoy some episodes, although some episode s I never liked because they had boring characters, little action or little humour, and I'm a guy age 47. 
I like the characters, good acting, humour, without the unbelievable freaks in the later Star Trek series Enterprise crews, and the without the unbelievable special effects of later Star Trek series. There's about 26 episodes of Star Trek, The Original Series, which I can easily enjoy, if I let myself, because they're so addictive.
